For our Half Term 5 REACH rewards trip, some of our students had the amazing opportunity to visit the Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Leicester.

The highlight of the day was Aerial Trekking — a thrilling activity that challenges participants to navigate obstacles high above the ground. According to the LOPC website:

“The upper course will test your ability to cope with a series of challenges at height as you make your way around the tracked obstacles some 9.5–10m off the ground. Testing your mental resolve even further, why not take the quick route down? A step into the abyss as you pluck up the courage to drop down to the ground with the Powerfan. The Powerfan gives you that instant thrill of falling through the air. All you need to do is step off the platform which is 10m above the ground and off you go.”

“In addition to this, we also have our Lower course. Despite being closer to the ground at 6–7m, the obstacles become even more technical. There is something for everyone!”
